Theatre time
As some short activities I have decided I want to go to the theatre, I fee its a good activity to do and since I’m more or less getting tickets for free. I plan on keeping it going but since i cannot asure when I will be able to atend i’m worried this won’t look like a serious long term and i’ve started a bit late so it doesn’t have as much commitment as it should.
I’ve attended to three until now and they were inspiring though I will speak about their learning outcomes later on
Valenciano classes
As I said before since I started the new year my mother has been insisting on me taking level exams to prove my knowledge. So now it was the time for the valenciano (or catalan) to get done. I already had the Mitjà (which is equivalent to a C1) and this year I attended classes to obtain the needed level to obtain the superior (which is equivalent to a C2). I’ve beeen attending a study group in the street pie de la cruz, in an antique building who has now become the nuclear building for a group of ONG’s consistent on the help of immigrants.
This class had been held for a longer time than I could assist but that didn’t descourage me, I knew I had a high level and a long time of study on my back. And also there was a friend who was also taking this exam and I didn’t want to fall behind.
Clases Frances
Since I started middle school I’ve been attending french classes and for them to be worth the investment my mother forced me to take the B2 exams. I pprepared for that with a private teacher for a long time and during the whole summer and part of this year I’ve been attending extra classes. This I may count it as a short term project even though it has been the cmpletion of a really long long term project. I got recently the results fr this exams and even though I feel I deserved a different grade I got the title, I was impressed on how well I did in the exam compared to how I had fet during my last trip to france. I got a pass but I feel like I still need more practice, for that I am organizing a trip to France for this following summer. I plan on going with the friends I made on the last trip because they were really nice.
Continuing my long term projects
First I must explain I plan on continuing as much of my long terms as I can.
I’ve kept doing waterpolo, putting even more effort into it as it’s my last year as an underage we get special opportunities. I wanna be prepared to take them. The problem is I have even less time than last year so I’ll have to put more commitment into it. I’ve participated into already 4 matches since the starting of the year and even though I’m ashamed I cannot say I played a decissive role I truly gave my all. I even scored a goal.
I try keeping with the boagradables project but I haven’t been able to contact the group. I’ll try updating more information on this but I wanted to continue having consistent service projects. I still plan to participate in the sandwich run but I’ll try finding more service activities in the future.
For the creativity I’ve been assisting the arts tursday but i feel its not enough. I want to participate in more activities than I actually do but the schedule at my age is gotten hard to extend.
Summer summary
This summer I was pretty busy because I participated on way too many things and I had all the homework so I felt I didn’t have enough time for anything,
I started doing things with my friends so I could relax from the final exams, but almost immediately I left spain on a trip to France. There I had a summer camp on mountain activities. That had the objective of forcing me to practice my french but the thing is I was so nervous I could only speak english which is ironic as I have almost no confidence when I speak english in spain. It was a lot of fun and people there was really nice, The only problem I recall appart from the language was one of my room partners which it seems was unhappy with the camp(he was deeply used to smoking and there he was forbidden) who left and it seems he stole t hings from all of us.
Fifteen days later, and after doing little to no homework I returned to my house, but not to the main one but the summer appartment. There I hardly ever had access to internet so the amount of homework I was able to do was limited. I got a bit stressed about it Later we payed a visit to our father’s home village, where he’s planning on preparing our family a house, that project we started moving all the trash and placing all the bricks and everything took a tiring bunch of hours. Anyways there I recovered some old friends and made a new one which is really cool.
Afterwards we went to Ibiza, that’s a travel I’ve gotten used to doing, a friend’s family have a yacht and our families hire some hotel rooms and have fun on the beautiful beaches of Ibiza, as I’m sure I don’t think I need to say this but being on aparadise like beach with a bunch of friends there isn’t almost not any chance for your homework to cross your mind. There we went some times to the gym and swam all the time. I particularly don’t like the gym because i feel it’s a symbol on how obsessed with figure our society has grown to be. Anyways one of the boys with whom I get along the most (which is obsesed with the figure) likes going there and so I go with him and join the fun activities I find like cardiobox, zumba or any of those and the gym entrance comes free with the hotel room so part of the problem is gone. And by doing that I can stuff myself with all the food we get on Ibiza.
Immediately after coming home my mother hired a french teacher to practice towards the new term exams. My sister was preparing for the B1 and I was preparing for the B2. We had classes three times a week and it all turned out to be a good experience because as I took the habit of waking up earlier than the 2 in the afternoon I started ging to a library in the nearby town which did have free internet and there I started doing the homework i hadn’t beeen able of doing during the past month and a half. For a couple of weeks we did that.
And what felt like just some days after getting down the last airplane we took a plane towards United States. It was the first time I left Europe, without counting a trip to Islas Canarias I did when I was young. As I see this post is gotten pretty long I’ll cut it here and start in a new entrance
It was a long trip, around 9 hours to the next scale and about 13hours until our final destination. During the time I spent waiting in the airport and the travel I read the book The Great Gatsby and almost finished Things Fall Appart. Thoose are two books which we had to read during the summer. Appart from those I read some oher books. But I didn’t spend my whole time on reading because the planes we took during the longer trips, they had access to movies which was really cool. I saw inside Out, The Faun’s Labyrinth , finished watching Pulp fiction, Watched the latest movie of the Avengers, Adele’s secret, The movie from a series I followed, which was called Ansyatsu Kyoshitsu. And finally we reached United states
Mitjà classes: creativity activity
If you want to study in any public career in Valencia or Catalunya you may need some degree in Valencian or Catalan, there’s an official exam each year tht grants you that diploma, there’s two levels: the Mitjà and the Superior

This exams are difficult (at least that’s what i felt) and to prepare myself for them I’ve been assisting to classes for three weeks (on thursdays)
It also happened the same day as the Match and the Preventorio so i was really tired on that class
My objectives while doing this activity are to pass the mitja, and with some hope passing the superior level
The preventorio trip
Before going to the match i went to Gandia, I wasn’t planning on going at first so i cannot say i had a long plannification on this matter (because that’s a requirement on CAS)
And i wasn’t ging sat first because i don’t think it’s fair that people like i were to go twice and some others weren’t able of going any. But many people got scared because of the math exam (completely understandable) and decided not to go to the preventorio.
So Mr. Boyer asked me fervorously if i could go and i had to accept
Waterpolo match
This thursday (28/5/2015) i had a match against the Almassera team, I live in Almassera for 15 years long so i know a couple of people from that team. I enjoy it more playing with people i know than people i don’t know, it feels like i can give it al without feeling so desperate, anyways we won but i couldn’t score any goal. We were asked at 20:30 on the pool so we could prepare it for the match, setting the goals and the lines. Preparing the balls (we actualy have three kinds and also we have different qualities)
Even though we are still not 18 we play with the men balls, those are the bigger ones, then there are women balls and the smallest are the junior.
beach clean project (posters update)
During last class we were working on the posters, because we were kind of late on our project. Even miss Jackie complained because we were the only group working on their project. Here i’ll write the link were you can see sme of our progress on the subject.

Here you can see the original photos we used for the posters. we distributed them on three posters, One of them speaks of the pollution around beaches, the second speaks of the pollution on the seas (that one, although it’s not related, it may concern the students and teachers of the problems this world faces. The third and last is the one speaking about the rganizaton and all the things it does or when it does them.
